stuff.

This is a page for documenting all my projects, and other things i own, in varying levels of detail.

[Eventually this will be updated with links to all hardware, software, and docker images listed.]

Projects

A few projects of mine (not exhautive) are:

  • A customizable and personalized GD Demonlist using the GDDL API. [Github]
  • An OS shell written in C.
  • This site, written with astro and css. [Github]
  • A rain world mod.
  • Various CLI tools written in bash
  • A C algorithm for Seat Racing.
Hardware

My PC is running on a 7700x + 6600xt, with 32gbDDR5 and 3tb of storage.
I use a £20 Anker vertical mouse and a Keychron K2. I have a 32" 1440p Samsung Odyssey monitor (I like the real estate it gives me).

I also own an old Lenovo laptop, the model of which I cannot recall as they are not produced anymore. It's great for doing work and light gaming when I dont feel like sitting at my desk.
I talk more about other hadware I own in the Homelab section of this page.

Software

Both my laptop and desktop use arch + hyprland. Info on what i run on them can be found below:

  • Terminal (This is where I do most of my work): Ghostty
  • Editor: Neovim, of course.
  • File Manager: Ranger. It's a really cool tui manager with vim motions.
  • Browser: Vivaldi <3
  • IRC: I use the irssi client, connected to my personal ZNC server (more info in #Homelab).
  • Localsend! An amazing foss airdrop alternative.
Homelab

I have a rack with all my networking equipment and my servers [Rackmate T1].
I have a repurposed Wyse 5020 (perfect for a DNS and VPN, the latter I am yet to set up), and my main server, 'Vespasian', is an HP elitedesk 800G3 mini running all my docker containers.

Below is a list of all the services being hosted on my servers:

  • A PiHole DNS.
  • My ZNC server, connected to Libera
  • My Jellyfin media server.
  • Uptime Kuma.
  • A few Minecraft Servers.
  • Prometheus for monitoring and sending data to:
  • Grafana, a metrics dashboard.
  • DocuWiki, for documenting my network.
  • HedgeDoc, for writing.
